Southern Employee Benefits Conference Meetings

The Southern Employee Benefits Conferences holds meetings twice a year.  A three-day Annual Educational Conference is held in the spring and a one day fly-in is held in the Fall.

A vital part of the conference is the opportunity to participate and exchange ideas in workshops and intra-disciplinary group meetings, including accountants, administrators, actuarial consultants, benefits consultants, insurance representatives, investment counselors and advisors, investment services, legal, plan sponsors and trust services. These gatherings are not only designed to elaborate upon the formal themes of the conference, but also to foster and improve working knowledge of current legislative interpretations, tax rulings, and new products and services. Further, the intra-disciplinary group meetings allow members from each discipline to meet to discuss common problems and/or benefits.

Because dialogue and involvement are so important to the well being of the Conference membership, spouses are encouraged to attend, and many of the conference activities are designed to include them. This fosters friendship and understanding among all participants.
