Annual Educational Conference Refund Statement


It is the policy of the SEBC that the registration fees will not be refunded after April 12, 2008. Should you find it necessary to cancel your registration, cancellations must be made in writing. For those registrants who must cancel after April 12, 2008, the Steering Committee has approved the following policy:

A registrant for the Annual Education Conference (AEC) who is too busy to attend, may send a substitue to attend in his/her place for the fee that has already been paid; or, alternatively, elect to receive a 50% credit toward the basic registration fee for the immediately following AEC. If you send a substitute, please give the name of the person to Beverly Friez prior to the meeting so that appropriate name badges, etc. may be provided for the substititue.

Security
When we request personal Credit Card information from you (such as name, address, phone number and credit card number), it is done on our secure servers. We use an industry standard technology known as Secured Socket Layer (SSL) to protect confidential information. SSL is an advanced encryption technology that makes personal information unreadable as it travels over the Internet.

When we request non-confidential information from you for Membership signup, renewals or Conference Registrations (such as name, address, phone number, regsitration information), it is entered and transfered via email directly to the SEBC administrator over public Internet.

Confidentiality
We realize that members are concerned about how information provided during online registration will be used. We are committed to protecting your privacy and use information we collect only to process your registrations. SEBC will never disclose member information to outside organizations for purposes other than completing membership or conference registrations.
